ShortKit instance and hand it to one of two feed components depending on your UI framework. The feed supports several item types: video, live stream, image carousel, video carousel, survey, and ad slot. For full model definitions, field descriptions, and usage examples across all platforms, see the Content Types guide.
Live streams render as videos with an isLive flag set on the content item — see the Live Streams guide for details on creating, broadcasting, and clipping streams.
Protected content plays in the feed automatically — the SDK issues and refreshes the signed streaming URL for you, with no extra integration.
Filtered feeds
WhenFeedConfig.filter is set, the feed only shows content matching the filter criteria. Filtering is handled server-side — the SDK applies the filter automatically on every request (initial load, pagination, pull-to-refresh).
ShortKitFeedViewController (UIKit)
ShortKitFeedViewController renders the feed as a page-snapping UICollectionView. By default the feed scrolls vertically (swipe up/down); set FeedConfig.scrollAxis to .horizontal for left/right swiping. It manages the entire lifecycle internally: pagination, player rotation, ad loading, overlay rendering, captions, and memory cleanup. All state is driven by the ShortKit instance you pass at init.

ShortKitFeedViewController responds to standard UIKit lifecycle events. Playback pauses automatically when the view controller disappears and resumes when it reappears. You do not need to call play() or pause() manually during navigation transitions.ShortKitFeedView (SwiftUI)
ShortKitFeedView is a UIViewControllerRepresentable wrapper around ShortKitFeedViewController. It works anywhere a SwiftUI View is accepted.
